Todays class

Today I spent the day doing a class at Pickwell Farm. Mark Gould taught us the techniques required to make a double sided clock. We used chalk paints with candle wax and also with stamps. The two sides are very different and I can't decide which one I like best.

WONDERFUL WEEKEND

I had this weekend off work. Saturday I went to a 12 hour crop with the BLOSSOMS down nr Polegate.E Sussex. I made cards, stamped, coloured and chatted with all the lovely ladies there. Its so nice to have seen them more than once this year.

On Sunday I went out with my 2 Aunts and 3rd Cousin (visiting from Canada) to visit the little village where my great, great, great, great grandfather lived. We managed to get the keys for the church and had a look around it too. After that we went back to my Aunts house, where my 2 Uncles and some cousins were waiting. A shame my mum couldn't make it to see her brothers and sisters.

Will try and add some pics later.

Stampendous guitar stamp

Today I finally finished a display piece for Pickwell using the acoustic guitar stamp from Stampendous. I really like the way the different bits turned out. I even heat embossed for the first time in many years.

Sheena stamps!

Today at Pickwell, I used some of the Sheena Douglas stamps with the Spectrum Aqua pens.
I really liked how it turned out. The tractor is attached with 3d pads, but that's not clear from the PIC.

My current favourite rubber stamps are from Unity Stamps, the postman delivered yet another package today!
My collection is growing weekly. My colouring box now has a large collection of images just waiting to be used. So watch out for some unity cards very soon..
